  • Firm makes control-oriented equity investments in small private companies throughout the US, with 2 institutional funds and aggregate commitments of over $400 million, which invested in a broad range of companies, with an emphasis on consumer and retail, niche manufacturing and services.

  • Initially hired to explore and conceive of a fund strategy to leverage the firm’s successful investment and operational history and led the organizational and fundraising efforts for the firm. Leader of a team of three (3) professionals responsibilities consisted of fund development, management, fund raising, investor relations and administration.

  • Member of Investment Committee for 22 portfolio investments across both funds. Specific participation in the following companies;

  • Brewery restaurant group: grew from 17 to 37 stores, and increased ebitda from $10 million to $17 million over holding period; generated 2.4x multiple on $31 million invested.

  • Specialty store chain selling value priced jewelry, apparel and accessories: grew from 7 stores to 370 with sales at it’s height of $520 million, generated 30X multiple on $8 million invested.
